It Takes Energy

We traveled from Sandusky, Ohio on Friday, and the days before, we were running and looking at tourist stuff, and I think we were tired.   Neither of us was promoting a visit to a museum or old historic tour, Saturday, and it seemed to be a day of just visiting a few stores, and an early dinner out.  We have two more days in this RV Resort, and then back on the road North and Westward.

Anne-Marie got this picture just outside of Toledo, Ohio.  We have driven by many power stations, and seen many more off in the distance, and I think that this is a first for us, a Nuclear cooling tower.  There must not be a big concern about it, we never heard or read anything about it during our visit.

These pictures fall into the “Do they really Know” category.  The extension would be easy to remove to lessen the trip hazard, or perhaps even someone hitting it with a vehicle.  We have a Hensley Hitch, and it has a hitch bar almost as long as this one, but early on after a few bumps to the shins I built a box for the hitch bar, and remove it when ever we are unhooked.

This is a nice place, but our trailer doesn’t fit the utility connections well.  When we were trying to park the trailer so that the utilities were close to the connections, the front door of the trailer opened into the tree.  To make life easier we moved the trailer back for tree clearance but all of the utilities needed the longest hose connections.

The RV Park is having internet problems, the router is getting confused and then refuses to talk to anyone.  We have lived with the service being up and down for over a day, and the folks at the front desk say that some equipment is in a locked closet, and the maintenance guy is the only one with a key.  With the long weekend ahead of us and prolonged internet disruptions, I put the extension on the WI-Fi antenna, and have found a reliable internet source somewhere over there.

Today I would like to do something, like take a drive to Bay City to see Saginaw Bay and Lake Huron, or maybe visit one of the Historical Homes and Museums here in town.  We will see what our energy levels are later on today.
